My name is Denka Momkova - I'm a native Bulgarian and I specialize in English-Bulgarian translations and vice-versa. 

I've graduated Sofia University "St. Clyment Ochridsky"- MA in English Philology.

My Second speciality is Russian language

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Over 20 years of experience in the field of translation
1985- 2006 - a news editor and translator for the News Department of the Bulgarian National Radio.
For the past three years I've been a senior news-editor for BNR's leading program "Horizon".
My everyday work includes translation and editing of news materials, articles and commentaries having as
a source international news-agencies such as REUTERS, AFP, AP, as well as TV and radio stations like CNN,
BBC World, EuroNewsetc. 
Also: 
1999-2001- editor and interpreter for the weekly political programme "Sunday-150" of the BNR (in which a 
lot of well-known foreign representatives have featured as guests, e.g.- the head of the EC delegation in
Bulgaria, the representative of the IMF in our country, etc.)
Besides that:
1998-2000 - Free-lance translator for "Lakov Press" - 4 books - 
non-fiction,
1995-1998- Free-lance translator for "Aratron" Publishing house, 8
books from English into Bulgarian, including an Encyclopedia on Vitamins & Minerals.
1992-1994 - Free-lance translator - fiction - for "Abagar" Publishing House.
Also, I’ve got some teaching experience as a part-time English teacher for “MAGS” ELS (a private school)
for the past 5 years and for “Pharos” ELS from 1994 to 1996.
